Please be advised that starting from November 1, 2020. In order to ensure the safety of Sealand Asia (Maersk Line) employees and vessels, a new levy called Weight Discrepancy Fee (WDF) of 100usd / BL is imposed on export cargo. The levy will apply to export shipments if the following weight mismatches occur:
1. The discrepancy between VGM and the weight indicated in the loading instruction (gross weight of the cargo + tare of the container);

2. The declared VGM exceeds the maximum container load weight according to the labels - KBK "Convention on Safe Containers" (excluding SOC containers);

3. Declared VGM is less than container tare weight.
